R angpur Division District and Thana List 2022. Rangpur Division is one of the eight administrative divisions of Bangladesh. It consists of 6 districts in the northern part of Bangladesh. It was declared as the seventh division of Bangladesh on January 25, 2010. The National Implementation Committee on Administrative Restructuring of the Government of Bangladesh approved Rangpur as the seventh division of the country on 25 January 2010. Earlier, on 13 July 2009, the cabinet decided to divide Rangpur. A committee was formed and the committee submitted its report on July 21.
